I'm growing the team at Cloud With Raj and I'm looking for someone to teach live classes inside our AWS Solutions Architect Bootcamp.

This is the program where our students go from stuck in IT to landing $200K+ cloud roles at companies like AWS, JPMorgan, Siemens, Capital One. And you'd be one of the people helping them get there.

🔧 What you'd actually be doing

You'd be hosting 2-3 live classes per week covering AWS architecture, system design, GenAI on AWS (Bedrock, RAG, agents), mock interviews, and career coaching.

Each class runs 90-120 minutes and you'd prep the agenda, demos, and slides in advance (although I've been running those classes for 10 cohorts already so a lot of materials is already there).

In addition to explaining theory from the slides, you speak with the students, run live exercises, answer question. If students aren't engaged on camera, something's wrong.

After each class you flag high-performers and stuck students to the CSM team and answer follow-up questions in the community within 24 hours.

You'll see how we build curriculum, stay on the cutting edge of tech, scale a coaching business, and get students hired.

You'll also be plugged into a network of senior cloud engineers, architects, FDEs and career changers who are actively landing roles at FAANG companies and top enterprises. The relationships you build here go way beyond this job.

📋 What I need from you

Must-haves:

• 5+ years hands-on AWS experience (SA, Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or similar) with real production architectures you can walk through live
• You've actually shipped something with GenAI on AWS.
• 1+ year of teaching, training, mentoring, or presenting to groups
• You can explain complex concepts simply and keep a live room engaged
• Professional on-camera setup (good mic, camera, lighting, stable internet)
• Available for 2-3 fixed weekly slots in US-friendly hours (ET/PT). Most classes happen on weekends.
• Enjoy teaching

Nice-to-haves:

• AWS Certified ML/AI Practitioner, AWS SA Professional, or similar
• Experience interviewing candidates at a big tech company
• Prior instructor role at a cloud bootcamp or AWS Training Partner
• Public proof you can teach: YouTube videos, recorded talks, blog posts

⏱️ The setup

This is a part-time, remote, independent contractor role. Around 5-10 hours a week including prep and community follow-ups. Paid per class, monthly. Compensation is $150-$300 per class (90–120 mins, prep and follow-up included).

There's real room to grow into more classes, new topics, and a lead coach role as the bootcamp scales.
